Regular Share Savings Account Through a Regular Share Savings Account, PACFCU welcomes you as a "shareholder" or owner in the credit union. This is your membership account. Through the Regular Share Savings Account, you have access to all the products and services we offer. Every member of the credit union is required to maintain a Regular Share Savings Account with a minimum deposit and balance of $50.00. A Regular Share Savings Account is much like most traditional savings accounts: through it you earn a competitive dividend and can make deposits or withdrawals at any time. With this account, you earn daily interest that is paid on the first of each month. Your Regular Share Savings Account can be a great place for you to save. The possibilities are as varied as your needs. You can save money for a vacation, or for household repairs. It also can be your Christmas fund each year. And, whenever you need a little extra money for unexpected bills, it's easy to transfer your savings funds to another account with Virtual Branch, PC Access, Coop and Bank of the West ATMs or at our office.   Share Draft Account (Checking) Many banks offer you three, four or five different checking plans.  Marketing - that's all.  We at Palo Alto Community FCU like to keep things simple.  We have one checking plan and one plan only - and it's FREE! Second Mortgages: We offer the following second mortgage options: $100,000.00 maximum - Up to 85% of Appraisal, less any liens.  Terms are five (5), ten (10) or fifteen (15) years. $50,000.00 maximum - Up to 90% of Appraisal, less any liens.  Terms are five (5), ten (10) or fifteen (15) years. $50,000.00 maximum - Up to 95% of Appraisal, less any liens.  Terms are five (5) or ten (10) years.     Home Equity Lines-of-Credit Our Home Equity Line-of-Credit (HELOC) is an attractive borrowing option for doing home repairs or debt consolidation.  Our HELOC details: $100,000 maximum - Up to 85% of Appraisal, less any liens $50,000 maximum - Up to 95% of Appraisal, less any liens Five (5) year draw period Fifteen (15) year repayment period Variable Rate (tied to Wall Street Journal PRIME rates)     Vehicle Loans Palo Alto Federal Credit Union can help you purchase or refinance the new or used vehicle you want.  Affordable rates and convenient terms are available.  Palo Alto Federal Credit Union also offers an Equity Auto Loan that allows you to use the equity of your home to purchase or refinance your next vehicle, with potential tax advantages to you (consult your tax advisor).
